I really like this dispalsy case BUT.....one of the glass panels was a quarter of an inch short. whating to see if the seller sends me a new panel that is the right size.I love this display case! Its perfect for hot toys 1/6 scale figures! If it wasn't so expensive I would buy at least 1 more. It's very easy to assemble, has many light options, and turns at the perfect speed. Now the negative...the usb cable that comes with it is way to short to reach an outlet in most cases you will need an extension. It is a little narrow so you have to carefully pose the figure. And did I mention its WAY to expensive. Other than that Great!The concept is quite attractive as you get an enclosure with a rotating base and very good lighting options. The execution -- not so much.I've gone through a total of four of these units. Purchased the mid-sized one first which came with the back mirror all scratched up and dinged after removing the plastic film. The front panel was scratched as well. Did a replacement and lucked out and still use that replacement unit currently. I then purchased the large option (40cm height) and the first unit's based had a pretty noticeable corner-to-corner wobble. Replaced the spongy feet with rubber ones but it made no difference. Requested a replacement which I didn't luck out on this time. The replacement's base was even but the turntable started making a ticking sound after being in operation for an hour. Turns out to request a replacement for a replacement unit is not possible and only a "refund to original purchase method" is available.The bases from all four units I came across this far just didn't look good. They don't look like they are a new product. See the pictures. They all have usage marks on the side-sitting USB-C expansion slots and many of the panels have scratches on them after removing the protective films. I don't know if they all had been used before due to having been returned and re-packaged or if they come like that from the factory but they do not look new. It's also common to see minor scratches and dings on the base and around the turn table. Granted, the usage marks around the USB-C ports are not really noticeable unless you're real up-close and in lit environments but the scratched-up panels/mirror will pop when you use any of the lights.I didn't have the light bleeding outwards from the top issue since I went with the black model.The Good:- The turning speed is quite nice. Not too fast or too slow - just right. 1 min, 10 sec for a full rotation.- The many individual spot lights are highly adjustable- The top light has three different options from cold white to warm to a more brighter white.- They can be stacked on top of each other or to the side. (Haven't tried)The Bad:- A lot of the panels have scratches or dings after removing the plastic film- Rotating base is hit-or-miss. It can be unusually noisy or start to shake during certain parts of the rotation- Top and bottom bases have usage marks on them around the USB-C connection ports. All of them.- The feet are of some spongy material which can easily cause the unit to slide when pushing the buttons on all but the roughest of surfaces (replace with rubber feet)Definitely use gloves when assembling these. A plastic cocktail pick worked very well on the corners to get the protective film off. The panels are dust-magnets and will require frequent dusting and wiping.I use them on a large desk setup. If I had a display shelf, I would've definitely taken that route instead after going through three replacements (and still in need of one).UPDATE: 2 months in and both turn-tables have different but increase ticking sounds. One makes a humming sound besides the ticking. I turn them off overnight, but they sound and look like they'll be giving out any day now. The figures that are on top are nearly half the weight-limit so it's not a weight issue. Would not expect this lack in quality for a product that costs around $100.alot of lights for showing off your figure. will buy again.Very happy with this box. A little pricey, but really shows off the contents well. Nicely packaged... not too hard to assemble. The one and only hang-up was getting the protective film off the panels. I don't have good fingernails so I ended up using a dental pick to carefully work the film off the acrylic. One other tip is to use cotton gloves to handle the acrylic... no fingerprints! Very happy overall.Overall I like the case. It's a bit difficult to get the individual acrylic pieces to line up correctly and sit in the grooves on the top and bottom, but once you get that done it's a nice display case.
