This was so hyped in the advertisement that I purchased it, but what arrived was a big let down: It was not easy to assemble like other display boxes. I found the instructions to be vague and confusing to say the least. Apparently you need to peel the film off of the acrylic panels and fit the shortest of the panels in the front on last, which is very hard since all of the parts are unlabeled. The top and bottom were ambiguous, but the light panel side is supposed the top. There is an off and on switch, a light button for the upper spot lights, a lamp light mode button that cycles through warm light, cool light, and a blend of the two lights. There is a lower spot light button, and a rotating button that does not have speed change options. So unfortunately the options are rather limited despite having four buttons. Now is a good time to report that one of the spot lights were burned-out and dead on arrival. I would also like to complain that the top and bottom black electronic end pieces are configured in a way that the USB plugs stick out on the bottom left and top right of the case, making this an eye sore of a display case, which is the antithesis of having a display in the first place. In theory, the energy output plug switches should allow multiple cases to be combined together, but you can’t even do that if there is a plug in the way of putting them together. At any rate, I find that one of these provide a big enough headache for me, and especially not when these are in the hundreds…. And you know what..? All would have been forgiven had the electronics been voice activation friendly, however, I tried to plug this in to an Amazon Alexa Echo smart-plug but it doesn’t work and instead the electronics shut off and stay off until you press all four buttons again…. one at a time…. which was the biggest letdown for me, even more so than the fact that this is a rather skinny case; Only one of my One Piece Portrait Of Pirates Animé figures fit in this, and even then it only fills half of the height. In conclusion, I found the proportions were too skinny, the options are extremely limited, one bulb was dead on arrival so the quality control is compromised, and it came with a spare, which may indicate that the seller has prior knowledge that his/her Light Emitting Diodes, aka “idiot-lights,” die frequently. So, yeah, after seeing this thing at it’s best, mirror or not, I cannot recommend it; this is not worth the time it takes to assemble, let alone take the time to repackage and return.
